Sunrise at the Highlands & Mossy Forest Walk

Wake up early for an unforgettable highland experience. Watch the first light of day paint the rolling hills and tea valleys, then step into the cool, misty air that makes Cameron Highlands so unique. This half-day journey combines nature, culture, and a taste of local heritage.

1.Sunrise Viewpoint – Start your morning with breathtaking views as the sun rises over the highlands. The changing colors of the sky create a perfect moment for photography and a serene way to begin the day.

2.Cool Morning Climate – Take in the refreshing mountain air while the highlands are still calm and quiet. This peaceful time of day lets you experience the landscape before the crowds arrive.

3.Tea Plantation Overview – Stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the endless waves of green tea bushes carpeting the rolling hills. Your guide will share insights into the history of tea cultivation in Cameron Highlands.

4.BOH Tea Plantation & Factory – Visit Malaysia’s most famous tea estate. Walk through the lush plantation, see the tea-making process from leaf to cup, and enjoy the chance to sample fresh Cameron Highlands tea at the BOH café.

5.Mossy Forest Walk – Explore a unique cloud forest along a safe boardwalk trail. Your guide will point out rare plants, orchids, ferns, and mosses that thrive in this cool, misty environment, explaining how this fragile ecosystem has survived for centuries.

We offer free pickup and drop-off from hotels and guesthouses in Tanah Rata, Golden Hills, Brinchang, and Kea Farm. If your stay is outside these areas, please meet us at the nearest pickup.

• Meals and drinks at your own expense.

• Large luggage is not permitted in the Land Rover. Please store it at your accommodation.

• BOH Café & Factory are closed on Mondays. On this day, we will visit Cameron Valley Tea House instead.
